The STX250™ X-Band™ saw is operated by placing its blade against a firmly held workpiece at the area intended to be cut. This allows the blade to rest on the target cut area, while the workpiece is resting against the saw fence. Keep in mind that the rotation of the blade will draw itself through the workpiece before passing through the fence. Ensure at least two teeth of the blade engage the work piece. When the workpiece and saw are properly aligned, push the Trigger Safety Switch forward with the thumb and depress the Trigger Switch; the blade will begin removing material as it cuts allowing the operator to release the Trigger Safety Switch and hold the Trigger Switch. When the cutting operation is complete, maintain control of the saw after releasing the Trigger Switch and until the blade comes to a complete stop. |
