Carbide tipped, carbide grit and diamond coated hole saws are specialty saws that give the Starrett hole saw line the ability to cut any material. We have yet to see a material that one of our saws can`t cut. (However, we haven`t tried "kryptonite"!)
Carbide Tipped Hole Saws
Saws have high-hardness, carbide tipped teeth with a triple chip tooth grind, ideal for use on materials that are too hard and abrasive for regular steel hole saws. The cutting depth is 1 5/8" (41 mm). Saws have constant 3-pitch teeth.
