The
swing gate operator shall be the Model SWG as manufactured by Operator
Specialty Company, Inc. (OSCO®) The Model SWG operator includes the
following features: |
Cabinet: • Weather-resistant galvannealed steel cabinet with powder coat finish • Lockable, gasketed and removable front cover for easy access Mechanical: • Heavy-duty 60:1 right-angle C-face gear reducer • Heavy-duty gate arm assembly with harmonic design for smoother starts and stops • Over-center gate arm "locking" angle • #40 roller chain and sprockets • Adjustable torque limiter • Heavy-duty pillow-block bearings Mounting: • 3 - 3 1/2" OD post mounting • Optional pad mounting pedestal available Anti-Entrapment/Detection Devices: Operator is pre-wired to accept contact and non-contact detection devices such as contact edges and/or photo electric eyes. •

 Automatic
gates are not for pedestrians!
Automatic gate operators are designed for vehicular
traffic only. They are powerful, and can cause serious injury or
death. Accordingly, direct all pedestrian traffic to a separate
pedestrian gate. UL325 requires the use of contact or non-contact
anti-entrapment devices.
